US open is the annual open golf tournament of the United States and is the second among the four major championships in golf. It is orchestrated by the United States Golf Association (USGA) in the mid-June and its final is played on the third Sunday, which is the Father’s Day.
Let us go through a list of those golfers who have won the most US open titles. Before I get you through the list, let me make it clear that the golfers who won equal number of US open tournament will be sequentially numbered and priority will be given to the person winning overall total number of the four major championships.

He (December 21, 1892 – October 6, 1969) was born in Rochester, New York and belonged to a working class background. He developed his golf game at the Country Club of Rochester and began as a caddy. He won 2 US open tournaments.
He was born on June 3, 1945 in Joplin, Missouri and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1967. He is one of the few golfers in history to win 3 US open tournaments.
He was born on December 30, 1975 in Cypress, California and was raised as a Buddhist. Woods has won 14 majors in total and 3 US open tournaments.
William Law Anderson (21 October 1879 – 25 October 1910) has won 4 US open tournaments and is a Scottish immigrant to the United States. He is the member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
Bobby Jones (March 17, 1902 – December 18, 1971) was a lawyer by profession and an American amateur golfer. He won 4 US open tournaments and retired at the age of 28.
