Born on 8th March, 1962, Kim Ung-Yong is a former child prodigy from Korea who has been named as one of the most intelligent people in the world with an IQ level of 120. Kim started showing fluency in Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, German and English by the time he celebrated his second birthday. After that he stared showing interest in concepts of algebra and on 2nd November, 1967 while he was only five years old, he solved complicated differential and integral calculus problems on Japanese television. By now he has published more than 90 papers on hydraulics and has earned a doctorate degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Gregory Smith
He is the founder of International Youth Advocates, an organization that promotes principles of peace and understanding among young people throughout the world. He has met with Bill Clinton and Mikhail Gorbachev and spoke in front of the UN. For these and other humanitarian and advocacy efforts, Smith has been nominated four times for a Nobel Peace Prize.
3. Akrit Jaswal
Akrit Jaswal is an Indian by birth and is a Child prodigy as well as a physician who performed his first surgery at the tender age of 7. He was born on 23rd April, 1993 and if his mom to be believed, he skipped the toddler stage and started walking instead. Akrit developed a passion for science and anatomy and had also begun reading Shakespeare when he was only five. At 7 years old, he is the youngest person to get admitted in a medical university in India and he hopes to someday continue his studies at the Imperial College London.
4. Fabiano Luigi Caruana
Fabiano Luigi Caruana, with a dual citizenship of Italy and the United States, is a Grandmaster and a Chess genius, who was born on 30th July, 1992 in Florida, USA. He is the youngest Grandmaster in the history of Italy and United States by achieving the title at an age of fourteen. He also has an Elo rating of 2773 according to the August 2012 FIDE, making him 8th in the world and Top World Junior.
5. Stephen W. Hawking
A British theoretical physicist and an author, Stephen W. Hawking is a recipient of the Presidential Medal of freedom of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States. Despite suffering from motor neurone disease, he has not failed to discuss his own theories and cosmology in general and is a life time member of Pontifical Academy of Sciences.
6. James Woods
James Howard Woods or James Woods is an American film, stage and television actor who was born with an IQ level of 180. He has starred in a number of critically approved films such as Once Upon a time in America, Salvador, the Last Day of summer, Casino etc. and has won three Emmy Awards.
7. Cleopatra Stratan
Born on 6th October, 2002, Cleopatra Stratan is the youngest person to score a commercial success at a young age of three and has named the album “At the Age of 3”. She has the reputation for being the youngest musician who performed live for two hours in front of a large spectator, the highest paid young artist, the youngest singer to receive an MTV award and the youngest artist to score a #1 hit in a country. She is also called as Cleo and currently puts up in Romania.
8. Aelita Andre
On 9th January, 2012, Aelita Andre has just turned 5 years but she is already a renowned abstract artist from Australia known for her Surrealist painting style. She showed her artistic talent when she was still nine months and her first solo exhibition opened in New York in June 2011. She learned to paint before she could walk, several months prior to her first birthday and at present stays with her family in Melbourne.
9. Saul Aaron Kripke
The ninth position in the record of top ten most intelligent people in the world is occupied by Saul Aaron Kripke who was invited to become a teacher in one of the most popular universities in the world, Harvard University while he was in High School. He has written several articles related to the terms of semantics and logic as modal logic and one among them has been accepted by the Department of Mathematics of Harvard University.
10. Michael Kevin Kearney
Michael Kevin Kearney is a former child genius who made a record by teaching college at the age of seventeen. He spoke first words at age 4 months at the age of six months, he told his pediatrician. Graduated high school when he was 6 years old and enrolled at Santa Rosa Junior College from where he graduated at the age of 10 years.
